About Us

Why We Do This

We want you to succeed in life and business; helping you in some small way will be a pleasure.  Knowing that we played a small role in helping you achieve your goals and aspirations will be a blessing to us.

However, in order to advise you, we must ask questions about your goals for the family and expected future in your chosen occupation.  What concerns do you have and what do you need from us to achieve the future you want for you and the family?

Once we understand what you need from us (no matter how difficult you think it may be to achieve), the easier it will be to advise you on what to do next.  Furthermore, the easier it will be to suggest the tools you will need to obtain your goals; as well as to satisfy your dreams and aspirations.

Business mentors are one of the most important keys to success, and we have really good ones.  Before we can introduce you to someone, we must first evaluate you and assess how we can help you obtain more of what you want in life for you and your family, and  in your occupation.  Mentoring can play a key role in helping people feel happy, content, and successful in life; and within the family and community. Soon the discussion leads to the following questions:

  • What would you do now to change your present situation if there was an opportunity for you to do so?
  • What if conditions were to change and you could do something that helps your dreams along to fulfillment?
  • What changes would you need to make now for that dream to happen?

I wonder, were you asking yourself these same questions?  If so, then we really do need to talk. We want you to have the guidance you deserve — I believe we can do that with your help — but you must first set a phone appointment.  It'll be a short call to discuss your needs and then determine if we are able to refer you to an adviser.

Please call or text during normal business hours (at 360-670-1548).  We will gather some pertinent information to determine the adviser with whom you need to speak.  Remember, there is no charge for the first consult so we can determine the service you need.  However, there may be some areas where we cannot advise. In that case, we may refer you; the first call will only be about 10 minutes. If we can help you, we will set longer appointments.

Whether or not you are seeking a strategic alliance with the right business adviser—someone to help you achieve your goals and improve your way of life—we need to meet. Together we create a plan for you.  However, to do that, you need to call us or use our contact form on the Contact page.

The truth is that we will not be able to help everyone when they call at the same time; we can only do what we can do so please try calling again or send me a text at ( 360) 670-1548 .  Call us during normal business hours for a first time phone appointment (360-670-1548).  As mentioned above, we will gather some pertinent information to determine who will advise you.

Again, there is no charge for this service because we do not consult in certain areas so we may refer you to contact the service you require.  You may need a professional headhunter for a job or a healthcare provider for health issues. Although our initial services are free, the adviser who works with you may talk to you about payment; it depends on what you need.

Take a look at our work experience to know the areas we are most comfortable about talking to you. Otherwise, we cannot help.

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE:

Selling Avon for three years or so and knocking on stranger's doors, taught me how work smart and to serve people.  I also learned that, if the wife wasn't home (the usual buyer of Avon products), I only left a sales booklet with husbands or children if I got the wife's name and phone number to call later for an order. This is where I learned the value of working smart, listening to what the customer says she wants in words and body language, and to service her.

Forty years in Network Marketing taught me a great deal about people, what they need and want, and what I can do to help them obtain that which is important to them and their family.  This experience helps me recognize what people want from me and to know how I can help them.

As a leader in Network Marketing, my work included personal consultations with downline distributors and upline mentors.  I also realized that sometimes customers and distributors just need someone to talk to whether they make an order or not.  All of these situations enhanced my people skills and my ability to have empathy and understanding for things that happen in people's lives through no fault of their own.

My Work Experience Includes:

  • One year as a receptionist at a Junior High School;
  • Two years as a receptionist at County Mental Health: I set appointments with patients to see Clinicians or a Doctor; filed Clinician's and Psychologist's reports; took notes from Staff Meetings (taken in shorthand,a "long-lost" skill ) and then typed reports for staff and the Director.  Also, I dealt with people coming to the office in crisis.
  • I also worked five years as an insurance associate in agent offices, filling out applications for various types of insurance, selling coverages that gave additional and necessary coverages, helped people with billing and policy problems, and counseled customers on the type of insurances needed.
  • In later years, I worked in a day treatment surgery center, checking in people for treatment, called insurance to make sure they had coverage, made sure they had all the appropriate paperwork, and informed family when patient was ready to go home.
  • I taught youth and adult classes at church for over thirty years.  All of these teaching opportunities gave me skills to help people and to build lasting relationships.

Walter Sherman

Generally, in the course of living our lives and doing business, people often talk to us about themselves, their lives, family, and work.  Sometimes they confide to us their dreams, aspirations, goals, and even frustrations.

We usually listen and then discuss what is going on to cause their frustrations. We may sometimes ask questions that lead to a discussion about the changes they want to make.

Mentoring can play a key role in helping people feel happy, secure and content with their life; as well as feeling successful within the family unit, the community, and occupation.  However, the discussion usually leads to asking:

  1. What would they rather do now if there was an opportunity for them to do so?
  2. What if conditions were to change and they could do something that helps their dream come along to fruition?
  3. What changes would they need to make now or in the near future for that dream to be realized?

I wonder, were you asking yourself these same questions?  If so, then we really do need to talk. We want you to have the guidance you deserve — I believe we can do that with your help — but you must first set a phone appointment to get started.  Remember, no charge for the first appointment.

 A result of our work experiences and Judith's books, people often ask for advice in resolving problems. They ask about working with employees and/or employers, about life and family issues, and about focusing better on the important things in life and business.

In truth, either people we know ask us for advice and direction or they know someone and want us to talk to them. Sometimes, when people know they are "off course" and just need someone to redirect them, they ask us for assistance. Then there are times when people just need someone to help them commit to getting back to where they need to be or to hold them accountable.

Whatever your needs, let's talk about it.  To do that, you need to set a phone appointment or ask to meet in person.  Call me on my cell at (360-670-1548) or ask Walter for his expertise by calling his cell at (903-819-2831).

Walter's work experience often included consulting with employees about personal and work related problems that interfere with their job attendance and job performance.

Walter also works with youth and adult leaders in Boy Scouts Of America, which gives him an opportunity to teach leadership and work/personal ethics.

Walter's Past Work Experiences Include:

  • Shift Manager in a glass factory;
  • Shift Manager in a semi-conductor plant;
  • Facility Service Manager for hospitals, school districts, and colleges.

These jobs included shift setups, quality control, dealing with attendance and employee issues, as well as handling union and upper management issues.

Hospital Facility Management included helping staff meet their accreditation, making sure laundry was done, and managing a minimum cleaning staff.

School Districts and College Facility Management included taking care of laundry,  setting up cleaning schedules, and working with management on function setups.

Volunteer in Boy Scouts of America (since the 1980s) has been in leadership and District Training.
