A MESSAGE OF HOPE
Finding Peace Amid Chaos and Trials
FROM THE AUTHOR'S DESK OF THE TREASURE BOX SERIES
I am the author of "The Treasure Box Series, Volme I: Peace, Joy, and Happiness". This book is a compilation of "Life's Treasures" that I have collected and stored in the form of journals over the years. I hope you find these writings helpful and that you will benefit from the lessons life has been so generously teaching me.
As a result of my experiences, I developed common-sense techniques that I have used personally to enhance my own understanding of peace and to help me deal with the chaos around me at the time. When I learned to respond better to challenges, I became a happier person.
Lessons I Learned
One of the most important lessons I learned is that, until we figure things out and get it right, the universe will continue to serve up the lessons we need to learn. Until we finally pay attention and make the appropriate revisions along the way that change status quo, our lives will be less than fulfilling for us.
The point is, we must acknowledge what we need to learn and change or the universe will continue to give us opportunities until we do, or until time runs out, whichever comes first…and that is a promise!
Protecting peace in times fraught with anguish and difficulty is something I learned first-hand. I developed a much better understanding of the fact that life's harsh lessons may seem unbearable at times and can deeply stir up the soul. It can even plunge our lives into despair and chaos. Yet I also learned that, although it may not seem like it at the time, these lessons are most useful when they are cultivated into a better understanding of life.
My heart is pained by the hardships of people who are suffering in their circumstances. Now that I am better at protecting the peace around me, I want nothing more than to see others experience the same type of peace that I have been able to feel.
DISCLAIMER
Keep in mind that I am not a therapist. My education comes from experience in the School of Hard Knocks, which is better known as life. Advice that I give should be considered as helpful hints only.
Any feelings of anxiety, depression, despair, panic, inappropriate thoughts and behaviors, or problems with addiction, should be discussed immediately with a member of the clergy or a healthcare practitioner.
In addition, I worked as a staff assistant at mental health in California. This gave me experience in dedaling with mental health issues. Some of my own family members have had mental health issues as well and so I worked with therapists to help them through their issues as well. Many of the situations I discuss in the book are similar to those I experienced with family members.
Learning from experience is the best teacher, correct However, helping close family members and friends get through their problems, is another great teacher. Nevertheless, being taught by the Spirit through enlightenment is the best teacher of all. This is where some of my inspiration has come, and from which I have learned the lessons I needed to know for my own situations.
